Hi Jerry,
I went to a 90 min seminar from "xxxxxxx" in Boca. The tool, "xxxxxxxx", looks very easy to  ues. It costs $3,000 for the software plus a $100 monthly
fee (real time data).
 
I've never traded FOREX, and I missed your FOREX seminar a while ago because I was in NJ. May I ask you that, What kind of the tool/software do you use for
trading in FOREX?

Hi Marty,

Nice to hear from you. Many people have come to Investors Education Network (IEN), after being introduced to products like that  and other infomercial products. In a nut shell the product you mentioned  is a  proprietary system that does not have "normal" price charts. They have arrows going up/down and lines that cross - but if you take that tool away, you will not be able to trade. If you did purchase the product - be aware that you have a very short time to get your money back.
 
I use several professional charting programs I combine that with proven methodologies that I can back test - but the most important aspect of trading, is managing the trades once you are in a position. That means discipline and education.
 
What I would recommend is that you stick to traditional technical analysis that you can use on Forex, stocks, options, futures, and commodities. There are several free charting programs you can get on the web and free training (stockcharts.com, bigcharts.com, your brokers will give you some form of free charting and education)
 
Then there are the professional charting platforms - eSignal, TCNet/TC2000, Tradestation, Metastock, Genesis, Quotetracker, to name a few. Each product has it’s own strengths and weaknesses. Once you feel comfortable with charting and technical analysis you can trade anything from anywhere with an internet connection.
 
As for the Forex markets I would be happy to talk with you to see just where you are in your learning process and help you decide the best path. I love the Forex market and plan to create a great group of traders in the next few months - so you are contacting me at the right time and place.

As for the product you saw it can be used as a confirming indicator and I have heard of people being successful with the product, However  I suggest you hold onto your $3000 and I can show you how to open a mini trading account with that money, after you practice on a free demo account.
